Prior to the French graphic arts exhibition Graphitec the LP130e Laser Marking System from Primera Technology was selected by an expert jury to be one of twelve “Coup de cœur“ new and innovative products. The committee made its choice among 49 products / equipment / services in six categories and Primera’s LP130e will be also presented at the “Place des nouveautés” during the exhibition. Graphitec is taking place in Paris, Porte de Versailles, June 11-14.

“We are delighted and proud to receive this award,” says Andreas Hoffmann, managing director of Primera Technology Europe. With the LP130, in-house production of labels and tags for use in harsh-duty applications is made possible with a specially-designed laser diode along with high-precision, matched optics. Instead of inkjet or thermal transfer technology, which generally have less durability than laser-marked materials, labels and tags can be used in a wide range of severe and harsh-duty applications, including military labels, UDI labels for medical devices, automobile VIN and under-hood part number, warning and instruction labels, aerospace and solar panel labels, serial tags for outdoor equipment, automobile parts, building materials and more.

Printer drivers are included for Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Also included is easy to use label design and printing software from Seagull Scientific called BarTender Primera SE UltraLite for Windows.
